The study program is completed in eight (8) semesters which include courses, workshops, laboratories, assignments, and tutorials. The courses are divided into required courses, and elective courses. The program also includes free courses in general knowledge and humanities, as well as English terminology courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The weekly curriculum includes lectures, tutorials and laboratory exercises. Building facilities include comfortable classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art surveillance equipment, computer labs that provide advanced telematics services and support students&#8217; educational activities in the most modern way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>L\u0395\u0391<\/strong><strong>RNING\nOUTCOMES<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completion of\ntheir studies, the graduates of the Department of Computer Science and\nBiomedical Informatics are equipped with the required knowledge, skills and\nabilities, which will ensure their scientific and professional recognition and\ndevelopment in the rapidly growing field of Informatics, and specialized in the\nutilization of Information Systems in the field of Medical Technology and\nBiology, information and data in Health Records and Services, as well as in the\nfields of Biomedical Informatics and Bioinformatics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, each\nGraduate of the Department will be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Recall,\nexplain and present the basic principles of Informatics and Computer Science<\/li><li>Connect\nthe theoretical background of Informatics with the design, selection,\ncomposition and application of technology in Biomedicine and Biology<\/li><li>Design,\ndevelop, manage and evaluate information systems with an emphasis on biomedical\ndata management and analyze their users\u2019&nbsp;\nrequirements<\/li><li>Develop\nand evaluate software applications and databases in Bioinformatics<\/li><li>Design,\ndevelop, manage and evaluate computer networks, communication systems and\nInternet applications<\/li><li>Report,\nexplain, evaluate and utilize the basic computer architecture and operating\nsystems <\/li><li>Describe,\nexplain and utilize microprocessors and microcontrollers, as well as to design\nand implement systems based on them<\/li><li>Design and\nimplement artificial intelligence, machine learning and information management\ntechnologies in Biomedicine<\/li><li>Describe,\nanalyze and utilize Biosignal processing techniques Biosignal Processing<\/li><li>Develop&nbsp;
