The qualifying\nexaminations in the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical informatics are\ncarried out according to the ministerial decision No. \u03a6.1 \/ 192329 \/ \u03923 (Government Gazette: 3185-\u03c4.\u0392 \u2019\/ 16-12-2013).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The application and\nthe supporting documents of the graduates who wish to be placed in the\nDepartment are submitted to the Secretariat of the Department from 1 to 15\nNovember of each academic year. The qualifying exams are held during the period\nfrom 1 to 20 December of each academic year. The examination program of the\ncourses is announced to the Secretariat and to the website of the Department at\nleast ten (10) days before the beginning of the first examined course. The results\nare posted by the Examinations Committee on the Department’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The supporting\ndocuments are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a) Application <\/p>\n\n\n\n
b) Copy of degree or\ncertificate of completion of studies. In case of foreign graduates, a\ncertificate of equivalence of their degree is submitted by the\nInterdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic and Information\nTitles (DOATAP) or by a similar institution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
c) Copy of an identity\ncard (ID).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 7th \/ 30-04-2014\ndecision of the Board of Deanery of the Faculty of Science of the University of\nThessaly sets that the duration of the examination of each course should be two\n(2) hours, and the examined courses should be the following three (3):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
