English for Academic Purposes Ι

The aims of the English for General Academic Purposes courses are concerned with those communication skills in English which are required for study purposes in formal educational systems. More specifically, the main goal is for students to practice and familiarize with academic vocabulary, reading strategies and speaking skills through a wide range of texts, lectures and note-taking. The focus is on academic discourse comprehension skills, such as understanding academic articles, clarifying their structure, as well as practicing academic vocabulary and grammatical structures.
