Curriculum vitae

Dr. Nicholas Vaiopoulos received his B.Sc. degree in Physics, his M.Sc. degree in electronics and radio communications and his Ph.D. diploma in optical wireless communications from the University of Athens. Since 2009 he is a member of the Laboratorial Teaching Staff in the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Thessaly. He has over 10 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings. His research interests focus on transfer and management of broadband traffic in optical wireless telecommunication networks as well as telecommunication network design.
