Curriculum vitae

                               

Dr. Alexander Vavoulas received his B.Sc. degree in Physics, his M.Sc. degree in electronics and radio communications and his Ph.D. diploma in optical wireless communications from the University of Athens. Since 2009 he is a member of the Laboratorial Teaching Staff in the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Thessaly. He has over 20 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include free space optics, ultraviolet communications, wireless and mobile communications as well as telecommunication system and network design.
