Curriculum vitae

Dr Panagiotis Tsarouhas, Dipl. Eng., PhD is Professor at University of Thessaly (Greece), Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics and a tutor in postgraduate course on Quality Management and Technology in Hellenic Open University. He received his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Universita degli studi di Napoli Federico II (Italy), and both Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece. For about 10 years he was at the Technical Department as production and maintenance operation head in food industry ‘Chipita International SA’ in Greece. He has about 32 years research/teaching experience, and more than 90 research papers in international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. He has been involved in many research and practical projects in the field of reliability analysis and maintenance engineering. His areas of interest are reliability & maintenance engineering, quality engineering, Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and supply chain management.
