The Building

The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics is located in the building of the old Academy of Lamia in Galaneika 2-4 Papasiopoulou Str. The building is comprised of the Department’s Secretariat, lecture halls, laboratories and the offices of the academic staff members.

Classrooms/Lecture Halls

The building was specially adapted to meet the educational needs of the Department by constructing modern and comfortable classrooms. There are four comfortable rooms equipped with modern teaching facilities of the latest technology, which can accommodate both lectures and scientific meetings.

Computer labs

The Department has adequately equipped labs with computer network providing advanced telematics services and supporting the educational activities of the students.

Academic Staff Offices

In the building of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics there are also five offices covering the needs of Academic staff members.

Secretariat offices

The Secretary of the Department is responsible for the administrative support of the courses and other activities of the Department.
