Biography

Karamerou Vasiliki graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2009), received her Master’s Degree in Education from the Department of Primary Education, University of Western Macedonia (2013) and her PhD entitled ‘The language regime of the European Union: European Union’s multilingualism halting the dominance of the English language on international relations’ from the Democritus University of Thrace (2019). She has taught a number of courses including English and English terminology in primary, secondary, tertiary and vocational education. Her research interests include teaching English for general and academic purposes, the use of ICT in language teaching, language regimes with emphasis on the European Union and language policy
