In order to be awarded with a degree in Computer Science and Biomedical informatics, a student is required to:
meet the requirements of Law 4009/2011 regarding the registration in each semester.
accumulate 138 Credit Units (ECTS), which result from the successful completion of twenty-eight (28) compulsory core courses (21 Computer Science and Informatics core courses and 7 Biomedicine and Bioinformatics core courses.
accumulate 70 Credit Units (ECTS), which result from the successful completion of fourteen (14) Elective Courses, out of the forty-eight (48) available. Specifically, they should have been successfully examined in two (2) elective courses of the 5th semester, four (4) elective courses of the 6th semester, four (4) elective courses of the 7th semester, and four (4) elective courses of the 8th semester.
accumulate four (4) Credit Units (ECTS), which result from the successful completion of at least two (2) Free Choice Courses, out of the four (4) Free Choice Courses available.
accumulate twenty (20) Credit Units(ECTS), which result from the successful completion of their (Graduate) Thesis or equivalently from the successful completion of four (4) additional Elective Courses regardless of the semester to which these courses belong to.
have been successfully examined in the four (4) Foreign Language (English Language) courses.
