Curriculum vitae

Ioannis Anagnostopoulos was born in Athens, Greece in 1975. He graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology, University of Patras, Greece (1998), and he received his PhD from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Greece (2004). He was with the University of the Aegean until 2010 serving as a lecturer. He currently serves as Assistant Professor in the University of Thessaly at the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics. His research interests include Web Information Management, Internet Technologies, Semantic Web Technologies, and Linked Data, as well as Online Social Network Analysis. He has more than 40 articles in international journals and more than 100 papers in international refereed conferences. Until today he has participated in more than 10 European and National funded Research Projects. He speaks English and French fluently.
